Transthyretin Amyloidosis (ATTR) – also known at ATTR amyloidosis, is a rare,
progressively debilitating, and fatal disease, caused by a misfolded
transthyretin (TTR) protein. TTR accumulates as toxic amyloid deposits in
multiple organs and tissues including the nerves, heart, GI tract, and
musculoskeletal tissues. We will review:
