The University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine is seeking outstanding applicants for the position of Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor to join our Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant (PA) program as we propose expansion to the MU campus in Columbia, Missouri. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful program as we increase our capacity to train PAs to serve the health care needs of Missourians. This is a ranked full time non-tenure track faculty position with UMKC and will be the inaugural faculty member to be located at the MU campus. The UMKC PA program is recognized for our quality graduates, innovative curriculum, community service, and professional stewardship. This 29-month (7 semester) program currently admits 20 students per cohort at the UMKC Health Sciences District campus and proposes to admit up to 20 students per cohort at the MU location. Faculty enjoy growth opportunities through tuition reduction, career mentorship and scholarly activity support.

Responsibilities: Be part of the team to implement a UMKC PA Program expansion. The experienced clinician and educator will work under the direction of the Program Director to coordinate and implement the UMKC PA program curriculum at the distant site. This will include ensuring delivery of content consistent with accreditation standards and the NCCPA blueprint. The individual will collaborate with dedicated faculty to implement an array of teaching and evaluation strategies. Additional duties include student academic and professional development advising; participation in student admissions activities; participation in the program’s ongoing self-study, accreditation, assessment, and continuous improvement processes; and involvement in university service activities.

Qualifications: Minimum requirements for this position include graduation from an accredited PA program, hold or working toward a Master’s degree, eligibility for Missouri PA licensure, and current NCCPA-certification. Previous teaching experience is desirable. The candidate should be highly motivated and organized as well as possess excellent communication skills.

Anticipated Hiring Range: Salary range is commensurate with rank, credentials, demonstrated success in research, and experience. This is a 12-month, ranked faculty appointment eligible for promotion. Our academic schedules and workload promote a positive work/life balance.

Clinical practice locations include Des Peres, MO and Columbia, IL. Provide evaluation and management of orthopedic conditions involving the hand, wrist, and elbow.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical office care to new, established, and post operative patients.
  • Perform history and physical examinations within guidelines and instructions of physician.
  • Order and evaluate diagnostic tests including XR, MRI, CT, EMG, NCS to help assess and determine patient’s plan of care.

Clinical Assistant Professor of PA Studies

Job Summary:

The Drury University PA Program welcomes applications for a 12-month, full-time faculty position at the rank of clinical assistant professor. Principal faculty will report directly to the Program Director of the PA program and must be team-oriented along with possessing excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The program seeks a PA, MD, or DO, pharmacologist, or pathophysiologist with at least 3 years of recent full-time clinical practice experience (or teaching if a pharmacologist or pathophysiologist) to join our team of collegial PA educators who have a track record of robust clinical experience, teaching, scholarship, and service both at the local, regional, and national level. A clinical or research day is provided to support the ongoing activities of our faculty, along with scheduling flexibility. The Drury University PA program is a developing program and provisionally accredited by ARC-PA. Our second cohort of 40 students begins in August. Drury is a 150-year-old institution, financially secure, and the PA program features newly constructed facilities, a small cohort of dedicated students with a low student-to-faculty ratio, a cadaver lab with a 5:1 student-to-donor ratio, and a very supportive administration.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·       Participates in the implementation and instruction of didactic year courses.

·       Serve as course director for assigned courses of the didactic year.

·       Provide evaluation and remediation/reassessment efforts.

·       Participates in laboratory and small group interactive sessions.

·       Participates in review of program mission statement and conveying the mission and vision of the program.

·       Participates in the organization, administration, continuous review, and analysis in the accreditation process of the physician assistant program for the ARC-PA.

Washington University is looking for an experienced physician assistant primed for challenges and innovation to join our growing ENT team here at Washington University. This position covers our inpatient floor at Barnes Jewish Hospital working alongside experts in the field of Otolaryngology and Head-Neck Surgery. As an inpatient physician assistant, you will support our patient population during their entire hospital stay, most of whom have undergone extensive oncologic surgical procedures. You will interact closely with our inpatient care team, which include attending physicians, fellows, residents, nurses, speech-language pathologists, dieticians, and social workers.

WUSM educational opportunities include grand rounds, lectures, and conferences. Washington University offers excellent employee benefits. Our inpatient physician assistants do not work weekends or evenings, or take call. An alternative schedule is available in the form of ten-hour workdays.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs physical assessments/examinations.

The practice has a single location in Ballwin, Missouri with surgical privileges throughout ambulatory surgical centers and hospitals west of St. Louis, Missouri. TCCO specializes in worker’s compensation and litigated cases to include complex surgical revisions.

The successful candidate will work directly with surgeon, clinical, and ancillary staff with responsibilities including:

· Surgical first-assist

· Clinical evaluation / diagnosis / and treatment of adult spine surgical disorders

Quell Headache & Wellness Center and Quell Aesthetics & Wellness, PLLC are seeking an experienced NP/PA to join our medical and aesthetics team. This is an excellent opportunity for a full-time licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant/associate to join our growing team. We specialize in providing high-quality, multi-speciality care in headache medicine, functional, integrative medicine & medical aesthetics.

Through working with our board-certified neurologist and clinical immunologist, you will develop and hone your expertise in headache medicine, integrative & functional medicine, including aesthetics (toxin and fillers, and devices like Morpheus8 Face & Body, EvolveX, Triton Laser Hair Removal), peptide-assisted regenerative medicine, medical weight loss, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and IV hydration and micronutrition. This position offers a unique opportunity for clinical autonomy and the development of new clinical skills in a 100% outpatient setting. Training will be provided; however, neurology, aesthetics, medical spa, regenerative, integrative & functional medicine experience is a plus.

The parent practice has two locations near St. Louis, MO in Shiloh, IL and Maryville, IL. Most of the work will occur at the Maryville location. Providers are ideally located in the Metro East, but providers can live in Missouri. Provider(s) must be licensed in Illinois.

This is a 100% outpatient position with 10% pediatrics/adolescent and 90% adult patient population so being a family medicine trained is a benefit.

The salary range is from $85,000 to $130,000/year excluding benefits which include profit sharing. Salary is commensurate with experience. Full training will be provided for those with no headache or functional/integrative medicine experience.

Full benefits include: retirement/401K "Safe harbor" with match and profit sharing, health/dental/vision insurance, CME allowance and paid time off.

A moving stipend is also provided if relocating.

Experience in neurology, headache medicine and functional/integrative medicine is a plus, but as aforementioned, training will be provided for those without prior experience. New graduates are welcome to apply.
