Master’s degree required.

May possess a specialty certificate by the National Commission on Certification of
Physician Assistants (NCCPA), in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Nephrology, Orthopedic Surgery, Pediatrics or Psychiatry. Possession of a current Missouri license to practice as a licensed Physician Assistant is required.
For Emergency Medicine positions: A minimum of two years’ experience as a physician assistant in an acute care area or completion of post-graduate PA residency/fellowship in an emergency medicine setting.

Seeking full time Physician Assistant to support the Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery service at Washington University/St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Provides physicians with assistance during surgery or complicated medical procedures, first and second assisting. Clinic duties include performing physical assessments/examinations, seeing patients preoperatively and postoperatively. Round in the CICU daily with physicians, performing wound care and chest tube and pacing wire removal. Cardiac experience preferred but not required. Currently employ one other physician assistant and two nurse practitioners on our service.

Rare opportunity for a PA position in a growing dermatology practice. Prefer >2 years of clinical experience in dermatology, but consideration will be given to plastic surgery, ENT, primary care, and urgent care. Hard workers who are smart and education focused will be well suited.
