We are looking for a full-time PA/NP to join our growing Orthopedic Injury Clinic! The Washington University Orthopedic Injury Clinic is specifically designed to provide same day access to high level orthopedic care to our community. We treat patients ages 5+ with acute orthopedic injuries including fractures, strains/sprains, sports injuries and acute back/joint pain. Services include evaluation by an orthopedic specialist with on-site X-ray, splinting and casting. 

Orthopedic Injury Clinic hours are 12-7 pm, M-F; 8am-12pm on Saturdays. Schedule combines rotating Injury Clinic coverage with independent standard follow up clinics for an opportunity to provide definitive care of non-operative patients. No inpatient or OR commitments! A successful candidate will have orthopedic experience treating a broad range of orthopedic complaints and feel comfortable practicing autonomously in a fast paced environment.

The College of Saint Mary (CSM), in partnership with the executive search firm Scott Healy & Associates, invites applications and nominations for a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program Director (PAS Program Director). The PAS Program Director has oversight of curriculum, planning, development, assessment, and accreditation of the PAS program. The Director is responsible for serving as an advocate of the program and as a member of the division of health professions in implementing decisions to support the goals and mission of the program and college. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Health Professions, this is a full-time, 12- month, faculty role with administrative responsibilities.

Reporting to the Physician Assistant Studies (PAS) Program Director, these positions serve as full-time faculty members in the CSM PAS program. They will work with other program faculty, the program director, and the medical director to develop the curricular components of both the didactic and clinical instruction phases of the program. Faculty members will also participate in advising students and monitoring their progress.

Part-time Principal Faculty Position for Drury University Physician Assistant Program

Responsibilities will include and are not limited to

  • Student instruction, evaluation, academic advising, and remediation/reassessment efforts
  • Serve as course director for assigned courses of the didactic year
  • Participation in laboratory session and small group interactive sessions
  • Participation in implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the program’s curriculum on a continuous basis
  • Participation in the admissions process which consists of recruitment, interviewing, and selection of students for incoming cohort
  • Maintain active physician assistant license

    Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical practice setting as a physician assistant
  • Instructional and presentation skills
  • Excellent English-language written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to interface with students, faculty, and staff

Education:

  • Master’s level Physician Assistant degree from an ARC-PA accredited school, US licensed MD/DO, US licensed pharmacist
