Just a short drive away you will find Dogwood Canyon, Busiek State Park, and Springfield-home to the granddaddy of outdoor stores, Bass Pro Shops.

Looking for some extra credits? The earning potential at the 2017 MOAPA Primary Care Update is the most we have ever provided! PI/SA credits are no longer required for PAs....but are worth double the CME. Therefore MOAPA is offering Projects in a Box workshop worth up to 40 CME at a low rate of $40!
The Projects in a Box workshop will contain the following titles:
Kidneys in a Box - An AAPA - certified PI-CME program for the family practice, internal medicine, urgent care PA who sees adult diabetic patients.
Outside the Box - An AAPA - certified PI-CME where you review 10 random charts answering the simple questions and then figure out where you are weak and change that behavior.
Bugs in a Box - An AAPA - certified PI-CME where you review 10 random charts answering the simple questions, figure our where you are weak and change that behavior.
Please note: all descriptions for Projects in a box were provided by the AANPA.
1) Understand the new NCCPA requirements for self-assessment (SA) and performance improvement (PI) CME
2) Recognize and discuss criteria that place diabetics at risk for development of chronic kidney disease (CKD), discuss health disparities commonly found in practices and risk factors for infectious disease
3) Identify opportunities within your practice to adjust for modifiable risk factors for CKD, infectious disease or decrease incidence of health disparities
The conference is casual; remember that rooms are air-conditioned. Please bring a sweater or jacket as it may be needed.
A light breakfast and lunch will be served daily. These may be provided in the form of a product theater.

This program has been reviewed and is approved for a maximum of 25.50 AAPA Category 1 CME credits by the AAPA Review Panel. PAs should claim only those credits actually spent participating in the CME activity.
